My oldest has been focused on Jesus's death on the cross for the past few days, due in part to the crosses in people's yards with the purple fabric draped across them. This has provided for some interesting chats in the van on the way to school. Last night I tried to re-focus her for a moment on the resurrection, and when I started talking about it, she said, "Oooh, I know the story!" Her eyes widened, and she told me:
"On Friday, Jesus died on the cross. It was very sad. They put him in a cave and rolled a big stone in front. On Sunday, he was not there! It was happy!"
